We had the privilege of accompanying a couple on their special day, curating the entire food and beverage experience at one of Lake Como’s most iconic and breathtaking venues: Villa del Balbianello.

A symbol of timeless elegance, the villa — also known for its appearances in Star Wars and 007 Casino Royale — provided the perfect setting for a wedding surrounded by the beauty of the lake and its landscape.

The celebration began with a refined welcome drink, designed to greet guests in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere before the ceremony. Following the exchange of vows, guests enjoyed a passing aperitivo featuring a selection of carefully crafted bites, from vegetarian tartlets with goat cheese, jelly and caramelized fig, to seafood-inspired finger food such as crispy shrimp with oyster mayonnaise and sea plankton, as well as the iconic Pierini Veneziani, a signature Spuma classic.

An elegant Champagne Tower added a celebratory and theatrical touch to the occasion, making the toast even more memorable.

The evening continued in the stunning Loggia Segrè, a panoramic space featuring large glass arches and a terrace overlooking the lake. For the occasion, the venue was dressed in a refined all-white palette that blended seamlessly with the surrounding scenery. Guests then enjoyed a seated dinner with dedicated meat, fish and vegetarian menus.

To conclude the celebration, a heart-shaped mille-feuille cake delighted guests and provided a sweet, romantic ending to an unforgettable day.
